Pro-lifers to rally at state capitol on June 18, will ask for end to abortion funding

"Why should the abortion industry's piece of the budgetary pie go untouched?"

After inspiring some participants to take up the pro-life cause on Catholic Lobby Day in April, Catholic activist Wynette Sills plans to keep the pressure on legislators and Planned Parenthood with a rally on the west steps of the State Capitol on June 18 at 11:30 a.m.

What Sills calls a "historical Rally for life" will include pro-life activists from across the state, as well as some from out of state. "We are requesting the elimination of abortion funding from the state budget," said Sills.
