DEACON FOR LIFE

Were there to be no support in the whole history of ethical and moral thought, were there no acknowledged confirmation from medical science, were the history of legal opinion to the contrary, we would still have to conclude on the basis of God's Holy Word that the unborn child is a person in the sight of God. He is protected by the sanctity of life graciously given to each individual by the Creator, Who alone places His image upon man and grants them any right to life which they have.

We were blessed with nine prayer warriors and two sidewalk counselors throughout the morning. It started out a busy day and continued for a good part of the morning. Nothing out of the ordinary happened, outside of one man stopping to try to argue that we shouldn't pray to idols -- our statue of the Holy Mother of God and Our Lady of Guadalupe picture, and praying the rosary, etc. While this is not unusual, it hasn't occurred in a while. However, it has been our experience whenever this happens, something good is also going to take place at some point.
