What President Obama Didn't Say:


OPINION, Sept. 21 /Christian Newswire/ -- The following is submitted by Day Gardner of the National Black Pro-Life Union:

"Recently, the Obama administration has been going to great lengths to try to prove President Obama is not a Muslim. I thought it almost laughable that 'his people' thought a random, politically timed stroll to church would refute that idea.

"I mean did they really think we'd all say: 'Wow! President Obama went to church twice this year... therefore, he can't be a Muslim!'

"Are they serious? I think the follow up to the church appearance says it all.

"While speaking to members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute on Sept. 15, the president recited the second line of the Declaration of Independence leaving out the word 'Creator.'

"So, Mr. President, here's what I say about that: 'We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.'

"Judging from his awkward pause, I believe the 'Creator' was purposefully omitted by Mr. Obama and of course, no real Christian would do that."

The National Black Pro-Life Union is an organization founded to serve as a clearing house to coordinate the flow of communications among all African American pro-life organizations and individuals in order to better network and combine resources.

We realize that if we are to be successful, it is necessary to share information and/or resources as well as "who gets the credit." We acknowledge that the real credit for any good thing always goes to GOD -- not man.
