Book of the Month!
Letter from Terri's Brother
Week of October 31, 2010

This past month has been very busy with several speaking engagements throughout the country. I was honored to speak at the Monroe County Right to Life Dinner in Monroe, MI, and then my family was blessed to be asked to speak to Mary's Way in Aurora, IL - Mary's Way ministry brings woman together in faith and closer to the Blessed Mother.

This past weekend, there were two speaking events that were sponsored by Right to Life New Mexico - Farmington and Albuquerque. Finally, our family was invited to speak to the wonderful students at Valencia Community College and University of Central Floridalocated in Orlando, FL. You could tell by the questions they asked how engaged and interested they were with the issue.

We are honored to have the opportunity to speak at these various events and we are truly fortunate for the people we meet and the new friends we make at these functions - the kind words of support and continued prayers are difficult to describe.

However, there still remains an enormous amount of misinformation that exists about Terri's case. But more importantly however, is the confusion that there is regarding this issue, in general. Especially those persons like Terri that are not dying and surviving only by our most basic care - food and water.

As we continue to receive calls from families desperate for help, we recognize how critical it is to continue to educate our general public on this vital issue and is why your ongoing support is so important to us!

Don't Forget - Terri's Day 2011 and Terri's Life & Hope Concert!

As you know, it was March 31, 2005, when Terri was cruelly and needlessly dehydrated to death. In an effort to never forget Terri, and all of our medically vulnerable, Terri's Network has established "Terri's Day," which is observed every March 31. The purpose of this day is to foster education, prayer, and activism regarding discrimination against the disabled, and advocacy for people in situations similar to what Terri and my family faced.

March 31, 2011, will be the 6-year anniversary of Terri's death. As in years past, along with Father Pavone as the main Celebrant, we will be having a mass to remember Terri, which will be held once again at the Ave Maria Oratory located on the Ave Maria campus. So please stay tuned for more news on Terri's Day 2011!

In addition, Terri's Network will be getting ready to announce the second annual Terri's Life & Hope Concert in the upcoming months. So don't forget to regularly visit Terri's website: www.terrisfight.org to keep updated on all of the news concerning this issue, Terri's Day and the Concert and much more!

And please tell your friends!
God's Blessings,
Bobby Schindler
