Year for Life: a Vigil for Life in all dioceses, to join the Pope

ll dioceses, parishes and chapels in the country, a Vigil of prayer will be celebrated while in other places various activities planned for the occasion will occur. The event will be held in local churches around the world and will coincide with first Vespers for the First Sunday of Advent.
Among the main celebrations in Argentina will be: In Cordoba: Vigil at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption presided over by Bishop Carlos José Ñáñez with Eucharistic Adoration and praying the rosary. In Salta: all night Eucharistic Adoration will be held in the parish of San Juan Bautista in Merced. In San Juan: on Wednesday evening the 24th there will be a reading of human rights and during the reading there will be a candle lit for each unborn child. In San Justo: all parishes will stage a Vigil in communion with Bishop Baldomero Carlos Martini, in each parish, reflecting on the theme: “Praying for Life in all its dimensions”. In Añatuya: a series of activities will take place in the city, around all parishes of the diocese in order to pray for the unborn. The main invitation is for 27 November in the square near the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Valley.
The Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA) is supporting the initiative with a Mass for Life that has been promoted by the Life and Family Commission to be held Wednesday, 24 November, in the hall of Bishop Derisi University, chaired by Father Victor Manuel Fernandez, Rector of this University Centre, and concelebrated by priests Ruben Revello and Fabian Gallego.
