Were there to be no support in the whole history of ethical and moral thought, were there no acknowledged confirmation from medical science, were the history of legal opinion to the contrary, we would still have to conclude on the basis of God's Holy Word that the unborn child is a person in the sight of God. He is protected by the sanctity of life graciously given to each individual by the Creator, Who alone places His image upon man and grants them any right to life which they have.

Former Tiananmen Student Leader leads prayer for families in China following the March for Life

WASHINGTON, Jan. 24, 2011 /Christian Newswire/ -- A new movement is stirring in the Roe vs. Wade community. "All Girls Allowed," a new organization devoted to mothers' and girls' rights in China, will pray with many passionate supporters at the Chinese Embassy today, calling out to God concerning the millions of babies aborted, killed and abandoned as a result of the One-Child Policy in China.

The prayer vigil for girls and mothers in China, led by Nobel Prize nominee and former top Tiananmen Square student leader Chai Ling, has been added to this year's Roe V. Wade anniversary event line-up in D.C., as the movement to end forced abortions and gendercide in China gains support from both sides of the American debate.

Scheduled for 4:30 p.m. at the Chinese Embassy in D.C., the vigil will remind many of the millions of babies aborted, abandoned or killed because of China's one-child policy.

Even as both sides of the American abortion debate are busy demonstrating, celebrating, marching, praying and advocating, Chai Ling brings attention back to China, where daily forced abortions are taking place.

"Many great leaders are here in D.C. today focusing on rights: either to live or to choose. In China, neither right is given," says Ling. "Let's pray for the 35,000 babies a day in China who are not allowed to live, and for their parents, whose choices are unthinkably difficult in the midst of great pressure."

There are many documented cases of pregnant mothers being kidnapped, imprisoned and beaten, then forced to abort, as late-term as up to nine months. See this video for more information.

Ling continues, "Many people hear the words One-Child Policy and don't realize that it's another way of saying 'every other child must die.'"
