Were there to be no support in the whole history of ethical and moral thought, were there no acknowledged confirmation from medical science, were the history of legal opinion to the contrary, we would still have to conclude on the basis of God's Holy Word that the unborn child is a person in the sight of God. He is protected by the sanctity of life graciously given to each individual by the Creator, Who alone places His image upon man and grants them any right to life which they have.

Miami Foster-care system up for review after abuse of adopted twins - One dead and one seriously injured"

Father pleads not guilty to attempted murder of adopted son
Excerpt: On Wednesday, Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Cindy Lederman lashed out angrily after hearing disturbing allegations of the twins' abuse at the home of Barahona and his wife, Carmen. Along with the twins, the couple have two other adopted children, an 11-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl. All four children came from the foster care system.

Why is it that it takes a tragedy and death of a child before the authorities do anything? Let's pray that all foster children will have a safe and love filled home to grow up in.
