Were there to be no support in the whole history of ethical and moral thought, were there no acknowledged confirmation from medical science, were the history of legal opinion to the contrary, we would still have to conclude on the basis of God's Holy Word that the unborn child is a person in the sight of God. He is protected by the sanctity of life graciously given to each individual by the Creator, Who alone places His image upon man and grants them any right to life which they have.

Pence Hails Passage of Amendment Eliminating Federal Funding for Planned Parenthood: 'Victory for Taxpayers and a Victory for Life'

WASHINGTON, Feb. 18, 2011 /Christian Newswire/ -- U.S. Congressman Mike Pence hailed the passage this afternoon of an amendment he authored that eliminates federal funding for Planned Parenthood for Fiscal Year 2011. The amendment passed with bipartisan support by a margin of 240 to 185:

"This afternoon's vote is a victory for taxpayers and a victory for life. By banning federal funding to Planned Parenthood, Congress has taken a stand for millions of Americans who believe their tax dollars should not be used to subsidize the largest abortion provider in America.
