The Eleven-Year-Old Sexologists

It is becoming immensely apparent that society is consumed with making our children grow up too fast. No longer can children just play or have fun in a worry-free environment. Instead, sexuality is forced upon them from every venue-in the media, in books, in video games and even in schools. Today's commentary examines one city's new program that is set to corrupt even more lives.

NPLTW update - Day seven! This is it!

Ok, this is it! The last day of a fun week of wearing our pro-life shirts out in public. It is also the last day of the NPLTW photo contest! Two tasks that were missing have been activated: 278 - At the welcome sign to your state. and 343 - Find a Noah's Ark playset. Sorry for not noticing earlier that these were not visible. Thank you to Lauren (4th place winner from last year) for pointing this out! The daily task for the last day of the contest is a nice, relaxing, comforting task... We want you to take a photo with you wearing your pro-life shirt (of course, and sticker if needed) sitting at your kitchen/dining room table eat a slice of apple pie that has a scoop of ice cream on it. Now! Because I was late in posting yesterdays (Sunday) daily task, you can complete both today's and yesterday's daily task through Monday, April 18th, midnight PST. There is also an important note about the photos and how they are judged on our Facebook page. Good luck!

Contraceptive use is the norm among religious women

Guttmacher

Contraceptive use by Catholics and Evangelicals-including those who attend religious services most frequently-is the norm, according to a new Guttmacher report. This finding confirms that policies making contraceptives more affordable and easier to use reflect the needs and desires of the vast majority of U.S. women and their partners, regardless of their religious beliefs. "In real-life America, contraceptive use and strong religious beliefs are highly compatible," says Rachel K. Jones, the report's lead author. "Most sexually active women who do not want to become pregnant practice contraception, and most use highly effective methods like sterilization, the pill, or the IUD. This is true for Evangelicals and Mainline Protestants, and it is true for Catholics, despite the Catholic hierarchy's strenuous opposition to contraception."

Planned Parenthood message war goes on

Politico

The battle over Planned Parenthood's funding may be over in Congress, but a fierce messaging fight has just started over whether the Planned Parenthood debate is an abortion debate at all. Supporters of Planned Parenthood on both sides of the aisle say the vote was, and will continue to be, an issue of protecting the preventive services Planned Parenthood provides. On the more politically volatile issue of abortion, however, they have stayed mum.

Pro-life groups challenge Planned Parenthood claim

CBN News
Pro-life groups across the country are challenging Planned Parenthood's claim being repeated by the media that women will lose access to health care if the group's funding is taken away. Jim Sedlak, vice president of American Life League, talked about the latest funding battle over Planned Parenthood, on CBN News Channel Morning News, April 18.
