'Stop thinking of her as a person': a page from Planned Parenthood's dating playbook

Life Site News
On its Facebook page [yesterday], Planned Parenthood posted a New York Timesop-ed written by a young man reflecting, as he takes his girlfriend Sam to buy the abortifacient hormone bomb known as the morning-after pill, upon his long fight to overcome his solid moral upbringing. Student author Andrew Limbong, who grew up in a strict Christian family from Indonesia, describes his experience getting over moral scruple to have uncommitted sex (in accord with "Western ideals") as the "ham sandwich effect," or the unique spiritual gagging that occurs when sin is culturally shoved down one's throat. One important way to silence and surmount the protestations of one's conscience and to have premarital sex, one friend told the author, is to stop treating your partner like a human being with value equal to your own.
Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin attacks pregnancy centers

Life Site News

With the Badger state facing a reported $137-million deficit, the legislature is considering budget cuts that may result in fewer taxpayer dollars flowing into Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin. Currently 24% of their budget comes from state and federal grants. Apparently out of fear, Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin is now pursuing the bizarre tactic of attacking the state's pregnancy centers in an attempt to protect their funding stream.

UN population projections prompt calls for population control

Life Site News

In the wake of the release of increased population projections by the United Nations Population Fund last week, predicting the birth of the world's 7 billionth baby in late October of this year, calls for measures to control the world's population have surged. The report says that the global population is rising faster than anticipated in previous reports and will likely reach 9.31 billion instead of 9.15 billion by 2050. UNFPA has released plans for activities to "underline the significance of this population milestone."
