Mary's Shelter Arts and Craft Benefit -
SUCCESS!A note from Adele Anderson... Hello Everyone, I am still smiling from yesterday's 2011 Mary's Shelter Arts and Crafts Benefit. The Hawke St. shelter was a perfect venue for the show...warm, inviting, and personal. So many smiling faces of volunteers and patrons came through the front door to support the incredible charity that is Mary's Shelter. What a grace-filled gift as we head toward Advent! OK...here is the great news... We made approximately $2,800!! More importantly, I saw some unfamiliar faces, and several women said they heard about the event from the newspaper. We can add these newcomers to those who are now aware of the work being done at Mary's Shelter. More pro-life support, more prayers, more donors. None of this would be possible without the creativity, donated time and money, and gorgeous arts and crafts that all of you donated. Every item was beautifully crafted and one patron said she felt like she was in a boutique...ooo-la-la! Thanks be to God who has blessed us with our talents which He allows us to use for the building of the Kingdom here on earth. May you all have a blessed Thanksgiving. -Adele |
