January is the National Sanctity of Life Month, Poetry Contest

What better way to kick off the New Year than to focus our attention on saving the lives of innocent babies whose lives continue to be in danger due to abortion. There are many ways to get involved this month and take a stand for LIFE.

  • Take a look at our recent video blog series on those where were “Almost Aborted”:
    • Gianna Jessen, abortion survivor and pro-life advocate and speaks on the debate to decriminalize abortion.
    • Claire Culwell, survived an abortion but her twin did not.
    • Melissa Ohden was never supposed to make it out of the womb, but today, she is happy and healthy, having survived her own abortion.
    • Bryce Daniel escaped the doctor's suggestion of an abortion after telling his parents that he was missing part of his brain and would die after birth.
    • Tim Tebow was almost aborted after doctor's encouraged Pam, Tebow's mother, to have an abortion. They said that her life as well as the child's was greatly at risk.
  •  CHOOSE LIFE” Poetry Contest has begun during this National Sanctity of Life Month.
    • You don't have to be an english major or a poet by profession to enter! This can be something you do with your kids, your spouse, or as a school project.  It's for anyone who wants to use their creativity to speak about an issue they believe in.  The more who enter the more fun it will be! Anyone can participate by writing a poem that addresses the theme, "CHOOSE LIFE."
    • All those who enter will have the opportunity to win a Amazon Kindle Fire. Learn about the contest HERE or go ahead and submit your poem.

Thank you for signing the Manhattan Declaration and remember, it's up to us, every one of us, to vigorously defend life, marriage, and religious liberty.
