Santorum, Romney Lead Obama in Key States Due to Obamacare
Thanks to the massive unpopularity of the Obamacare law that includes abortion funding, rationing concerns and now a mandate that forces religious employers to pay for birth control and drugs that may cause abortions, Obama is losing to the top two GOP candidates in key states.

In a USA TODAY/Gallup Poll of the nation s dozen top battleground states, a majority of Americans calls passage of Obamacare a bad thing and support repealing it should Republicans win control of the Senate from Democrats in November and the White House.

The Gallup survey queried voters in Ohio, Virginia, Colorado, Iowa, Florida, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Michigan, which casts votes tomorrow, was also included. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/02/27/santorum-romney-lead-obama-in-key-states-due-to-obamacare/

Cardinal: Catholic Hospitals May Close in Two Years Under Mandate
A leading Catholic Cardinal says Catholic hospitals in the United States may close in just two years under the new mandate the Obama administration put in place forcing them to pay for birth control and drugs that may cause abortions for their employees.

Cardinal Francis George of Chicago complains that the Catholic Church is being despoiled of her institutions as freedom of conscience and of religion become a memory from a happier past. He says the Obama administration is saying the Catholic Church in the United States is being told she must give up her health care institutions, her universities and many of her social service organizations. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/02/27/cardinal-catholic-hospitals-may-close-in-two-years-under-mandate/

Planned Parenthood Closes Texas Center After De-Funding
Thanks for the state of Texas deciding to revoke approximately $16 million in taxpayer funding for the Planned Parenthood abortion business, the Odessa office of Planned Parenthood will be closing March 9.

While abortions are not done at that office, it make abortion referrals for women to other Planned Parenthood of West Texas locations that do. The head of the Planned Parenthood affiliate admitted it has 2,000 abortion customers in its network in 2011.

In an interview with the local newspaper, CEO Karen Pieper Hildebrand of Planned Parenthood of West Texas blamed the state s decision to prevent the state family planning program from contracting with abortion businesses for the decision to close the busiest office it runs in western Texas. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/02/27/planned-parenthood-closes-texas-center-after-de-funding/

Planned Parenthood Prez Tells UAW: Re-Elect Barack Obama
At a rally with nearly 1,700 members and retirees of the United Auto Workers union, the president of the nation s biggest abortion business told participants that they need to re-elect pro-abortion President Barack Obama.

The rally is the latest example of the political collaboration between the abortion industry and labor unions to support Obama, who has compiled an extensive pro-abortion record during his time in the White House.

President Obama stood with us and we are going to stand with him, Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards told UAW members last night at the rally, according to the Detroit News. We didn t pick these fights, but by God, we re going to win.

The two organizations that have become the punching bags in the Republican primary are the United Auto Workers and Planned Parenthood, Richards said. we re proud to stand with you. We ve got your back and we know you have ours. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/02/27/planned-parenthood-prez-tells-uaw-re-elect-barack-obama/

Video Back on YouTube Exposing Planned Parenthood Targeting Kids
After a Planned Parenthood ex-intern complained about appearing in it and YouTube forced it to be removed, a pro-life video exposing how the abortion business is targeting young children is back online and able to be seen.

The new video expose and report from a pro-life group showed how the Planned Parenthood abortion business exposes children to sexual material in order to seed a generation of sex addicts who will become future customers for the abortion giant. The new American Life League report exposed Planned Parenthood s sex programs using graphic imagery from Planned Parenthood s own websites, materials, and events.

After just four days on YouTube, Hooking Kids on Sex, the investigative report on Planned Parenthood sex education exceeded 200,000 views. Then, an ex-intern of Planned Parenthood got the white-hot video blocked by YouTube.i http://www.lifenews.com/2012/02/27/video-back-on-youtube-exposing-planned-parenthood-targeting-kids/

Obama Admin Sends Pro-Abortion Delegation to UN Women s Mtg
Yesterday a State Department press release announced the delegation they would be sending to the the 56th Session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women beginning next week at UN headquarters in New York and running two weeks.

The two co-leaders of the delegation are Susan Rice, US Ambassador to the United Nations and Melanne Verveer, Ambassador-at-Large for Global Women s Issues. Verveer, a former White House staffer to Hillary Clinton and staunch abortion rights advocate, was appointed to this post after President Obama created it in March 2009. Pro-life leaders believe the department was created in large part to advance abortion rights globally.

In 2009 UN Ambassador Susan Rice went on record (although without using the word abortion) in a speech at Howard University signaling a substantive policy shift from the Bush Administration on abortion by equating abortion with reproductive health. C-FAM reported on this. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/02/27/obama-admin-sends-pro-abortion-delegation-to-un-womens-mtg/

Obama s HHS Mandate Sparks Nationwide Pro-Life Protests
The controversy over pro-abortion President Barack Obama s HHS Mandate is now pouring out onto the streets as pro-life advocates and those who support religious liberty and freedom protest it.

On March 23, concerned citizens in over 50 cities including Washington D.C., New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, and San Francisco will gather at federal buildings for a rally with the theme, Stand Up for Religious Freedom Stop the HHS Mandate!

Thousands of Americans of all faiths are expected to participate in these rallies, organized by Citizens for a Pro-Life Society and the Pro-Life Action League, to oppose the new mandate from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services that requires all employers to provide free contraceptives, sterilization, and abortion-inducing drugs through their health plans. Religious leaders and other public figures will speak out against the HHS Mandate. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/02/27/obamas-hhs-mandate-sparks-nationwide-pro-life-protests/
