ANNAPOLIS, Md., March 27, 2012 /Christian Newswire/ -- On Tuesday, March 13, a young woman who was scheduled for an abortion at Planned Parenthood on West Street, stopped instead at the newly opened Annapolis Pregnancy Clinic -- which is literally right across the street. Instead of ending her baby's life that day, she was able to see her unborn child, courtesy of a free ultrasound, and reconsidered her decision. It was the first day of business for the new clinic, and it was open only 2 hours before making a positive impact on this woman's life.

In addition to this young lady, two other clients were seen that first day, and took advantage of several services by the new clinic, which include free pregnancy tests, STD screening, and parenting classes. However, on that particular day, it was the free ultrasound that made all the difference. In addition to getting to see her baby, this first client also discovered that there were people in the area who care for her and her child, and were willing to stand by her, no matter her situation.
