Santorum Campaign Manager to Help Romney Reach Pro-Lifers
The former campaign manager for the Republican presidential campaign of Rick Santorum has signed on to serve in an important role in the campaign of Mitt Romney.

Mike Biundo has been added to the Romney team as the deputy national director for coalitions meaning he will work to reach pro-life voters and coalesce them around Romney s attempt to defeat pro-abortion President Barack Obama. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/04/26/santorum-campaign-manager-to-help-romney-reach-pro-lifers/

Pro-Lifers to Congress: Get Moving on Planned Parenthood Probe
Last year, when a prominent chairman of a U.S. House committee announced he had sent letters to Planned Parenthood seeking information to begin an investigation into the nation s largest abortion business, pro-life advocates applauded. Now, there is concern the probe won t happen soon.

Last year, Representative Cliff Stearns, the head of a subcommittee in the House, launched a Congressional investigation of Planned Parenthood after abuses at the abortion centers it runs were reported and news stories surfaced showing Planned Parenthood affiliates engaging in fraudulent activities with taxpayer funds.

Stearns was also persuaded by a series of Live Action Films showing Planned Parenthood workers advising actors posing as a sex trafficker and a prostitute on how to obtain birth control and abortions for their underage trafficking victims. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/04/26/pro-lifers-to-congress-get-moving-on-planned-parenthood-probe/

Abortion Survivor Meets Nurse Who Saved Her Life
The abortion survivor steps into the room and comes face to face with a nurse volunteer that held and rocked her nearly thirty-five years ago when she was in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Tears flow quickly and they embrace. Sounds like a scene straight out of a Hollywood movie, doesn t it? For me, it s life.

I don t think I will ever cease to be amazed at what unfolds in my life. Truly, surviving a failed saline infusion abortion 34 years ago was just one example of the amazing instances of miracles, blessings, and God-incidences that I experience everyday. The supporters of the Vitae Foundation s Banquet in Sedalia, Missouri, on April 24th were blessed to witness yet another one of them; namely, me coming face to face with Michelle Lehr, who I am pictured with above, who held me in the NICU at the University of Iowa Hospital in 1977, where I had been transferred to after surviving the failed abortion. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/04/26/abortion-survivor-meets-nurse-who-saved-her-life/

Brain Dead Man Recovers Before Doctors Can Take His Organs
In what is becoming a more common theme, doctors rushed too fast to attempt to take the organs of a man who was thought to be brain dead but recovered this time thanks in part to the dedication of his family.

As the London Daily Mail reports: They were told there was no chance of their son surviving after he suffered devastating injuries in a car crash. But Steven Thorpe s parents refused to give up hope despite four specialists declaring that the 17-year-old was brain dead. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/04/26/brain-dead-man-recovers-before-doctors-can-take-his-organs/

Sebelius Admits She s Unaware of Top Religious Liberty Cases
This morning in a hearing before the U.S. House of Representatives Education and Workforce Committee, HHS Secretary Sebelius was questioned by Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) on the topic of religious liberty. Specifically, Rep. Gowdy questioned Secretary Sebelius statement in her testimony indicating the careful consideration she undertook to balance religious liberty protections with preventive services in making the decision about the contraceptive mandate (which includes drugs that can cause abortions).

Rep. Gowdy asked the Secretary about the specifics of her balance . In doing so he explained three tests for legal balance, depending on the content and issues being weighed. He explained that because religious liberty is a fundamental right any decision that might violate it would require the strictest scrutiny. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/04/26/sebelius-admits-shes-unaware-of-top-religious-liberty-cases/

Georgetown Rejects Sandra Fluke, No Birth Control Policy Change
In a new interview, Miss Delaware, Maria Cahill, who is a pro-life advocate, talks about how she was instructed to not mention anything about her pro-life views during the pageant.

Maria is the second oldest of seven children, and has always been passionate about the pro-life movement:

It came from growing up in a household where the value of life was respected no matter what the case. I became even more involved when I met women that were contemplating abortion. Seeing the pain in their eyes and hearing them talk about the fact that they believed that there was no other way out was heart wrenching; and honestly made me want to make a difference, she has said. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/04/26/georgetown-rejects-sandra-fluke-no-birth-control-policy-change/

Karl Rove: Obama Leads Electoral College Race Over Romney
In a new analysis issued by former Bush strategist Karl Rove, pro-abortion President Barack Obama holds a sizable lead in the electoral college race over likely Republican nominee Mitt Romney.

The first Karl Rove & Co. 2012 Electoral College map looks very similar to the election landscapes of the last three presidential elections where Republican candidates performed well in the South and Midwest while the Democratic nominees performed well in the Northeast, upper Midwest and West. Rove points out some of the states that have been tossup states in the past remain so for the 2012 election.

National polls show it is going to be a tight race between the two candidates, with Obama leading Romney by only 3.9 points in the latest RealClearPolitics aggregate. A closer look at how they match up on a state-by-state basis reveals the race to 270 Electoral College votes will likely come down to a handful of states, he said. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/04/26/karl-rove-obama-leads-electoral-college-race-over-romney/

Abortion Backers Are The Ones Waging a War on Women
Time for some woman-to-woman talk. Because we women are under siege, or so we are told, and it is our votes that the creators of the phony war on women (WOW) want to garner, let s talk facts. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/04/26/abortion-backers-are-the-ones-waging-a-war-on-women/

Pro-Abortion Student Vandalizing Pro-Life Display Won t Apologize
Last night, we received an email from the WKU art student, Elaina Smith, (pasted below) who vandalized the Hilltoppers for Life cross display last Friday morning stating that she has not apologized and has no intention of apologizing for her actions. This is in clear contradiction with what the WKU Administration is claiming, as they have publicly stated that she has apologized. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/04/26/pro-abortion-student-vandalizing-pro-life-display-wont-apologize/
