| Dear John, Last week I wrote to tell you about Father Rick in Haiti. He is in dire need of cholera test kits, and he turned to CMMB for help. We have sent a shipment of 1,000 kits to Father Rick, but he needs 5,000 more! Here is Father Rick's request: "There is another cholera outbreak. We need about 6,000 cholera test kits to help those in need. In the past, CMMB was able to provide cholera tests - would it be possible to have some sent to Haiti? We are desperate for these. Cases are on the rise." - Fr. Rick
Dr. Dianne Jean-Francois, M.D., our Country Director in Haiti, echoes Fr. Rick's cry for help. "We're partnering with two hospitals - St. Damien and St. Luc. St. Damien is a hospital for children. These tests allow us to diagnose cholera and prescribe the proper treatment quickly."
