The imaginary war on women

The term "war on women" has taken on a life of its own in political and media circles. The question is, where did it come from and why should we care?
California's pro-abortion senator Barbara Boxer was the first to spread the term via Twitter. Boxer "tweeted" six different questions and MoveOn.org spread the word. Voila! War on women became a feminist battle cry.

Planned Parenthood is facing new calls for congressional scrutiny after a Chicago woman died following an abortion at a local clinic last week. Twenty-four-year old Tonya Reaves died Friday of hemorrhaging following the abortion, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office. Her death has been ruled an accident.

The Pro-Life Action League uncovered the botched abortion and local pro-life advocates helping provide women outside the Planned Parenthood clinic with alternatives information provided the group a picture (shown here) of the ambulance arriving at the abortion company's location.
