Pro-Lifers Win First Appeals Court Victory Against HHS Mandate
A federal appeals court today issued an order granting a motion for a preliminary injunction that temporarily blocks the implementation of the HHS mandate against a Missouri business owner.

The decision is the first occasion on which a pro-life plaintiff has secured a legal victory against the HHS mandate at the federal appeals court level. Most of the dozens of cases against the HHS mandate are still at the federal district court level. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/28/pro-lifers-win-first-appeals-court-victory-against-hhs-mandate/

Senate Votes to Begin Debate on Pro-Abortion UN Treaty
The Senate voted to begin debate on a UN treaty that pro-life groups are worried would be used to promote abortion on a worldwide scale.

Yesterday afternoon, the Senate took a preliminary vote on the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD). The vote was on a Motion to Proceed, meaning the Senate gave permission to begin debate regarding the treaty. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/28/senate-votes-to-begin-debate-on-pro-abortion-un-treaty/

Pro-Lifers Should Remain Active in the Political Process
The devastating election results may be enough for some pro-life advocates to call it quits and decide to get out of the political process by ending their involvement in supporting and electing pro-life candidates.

Other pro-life advocates may think electing pro-life candidates doesn t bear any pro-life fruit even though pro-life laws have saved millions of unborn children and cut abortions in some states by as much as 50 percent to historic lows. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/28/pro-lifers-should-remain-active-in-the-political-process/

Amazing New Process Creates 3-D Model of Your Unborn Child
A Japanese company is using a new process to create amazing 3-D models of unborn children. Using 3-D printing technology, the firm is allowing parents to move past the 3-D ultrasounds and pictures to have a realistic model of their unborn child they can hold in their hands.

From the story: Fasotec, an engineering company and Parkside Hiroo Ladies clinic have teamed up to offer the service since July 30. The way it works is similar to an ultrasound, but in this case they use MRI scans. (X rays can be harmful to a developing fetus). http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/28/amazing-new-process-creates-3-d-model-of-your-unborn-child/

Judge Dismisses One Catholic Lawsuit Against HHS Mandate
A federal judge has dismissed one of the dozens of lawsuits that religious groups and businesses have filed against the Obama administration over the HHS mandate that compels them to pay for birth control and drugs that may cause abortions.

A Pennsylvania federal district court dismissed the lawsuit filed by the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh, Catholic Charities of Pittsburgh and Catholic Cemeteries Association of Pittsburgh. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/28/judge-dismisses-one-catholic-lawsuit-against-hhs-mandate/

Last Mississippi Abortion Clinic Could Close in February
The last abortion clinic in Mississippi is struggling to stay open as it battles a law that could result in the Magnolia State becoming the first state in the nation to not have a single abortion business.

In April, Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant signed a bill putting new requirements on the books for abortion practitioners who operate in the state. They would have to be certified in the state as an obstetrician-gynecologist with admitting privileges at a local hospital in case a botched abortion requires a woman to be immediately hospitalized. http://www.lifenews.com/2012/11/28/last-mississippi-abortion-clinic-could-close-in-february/
