Attorney General Opens Probe Into Abortion Doc Who Killed Woman
Following a new probe started by local officials, the Maryland Attorney General has opened an investigation into the late-term abortion practitioner who killed a woman last week in a botched abortion.

The Maryland Attorney General s office is not specifically looking into the death of 29-year-old woman from a botched 33-week abortion last week. The woman has been identified as 29-year-old Jennifer McKenna Morbelli, of New Rochelle, New York. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/02/12/attorney-general-opens-probe-into-abortion-doc-who-killed-woman/

Jennifer Morbelli Not the First Woman Carhart Killed in Abortion
Last week, late-term abortion practitioner LeRoy Carhart killed a woman in a failed abortion at 33 weeks. The death of Jennifer Morbelli isn t the first time Carhart killed a woman in a botched abortion.

Christin A. Gilbert, who was 19, died after a third-trimester abortion on January 13, 2005. After the botched abortion, Gilbert was rushed into the Wesley Medical Center ER in Wichita, Kansas. Gilbert suffered complications during her abortion that were not fully diagnosed, an autopsy concluded. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/02/12/jennifer-morbelli-not-the-first-woman-carhart-killed-in-abortion/

Group Challenges Obama to Name One Pro-Life Law He Favors in SOTU
A leading pro-life group is challenging pro-abortion President Barack Obama to name even one pro-life law he would favor as president. The Susan B. Anthony List predicts Obama will, once again, ignore the issue of abortion in his State of the Union address.

SBA List president Marjorie Dannenfelser praised Arkansas Democratic Governor Mike Beebe for signing a bill to ban abortion coverage from the state s insurance exchanges and criticized President Obama for not supporting similar, common ground measures on abortion. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/02/12/group-challenges-obama-to-name-one-pro-life-law-he-favors-in-sotu/

War on Women? What about the Woman Who Died From an Abortion?
While liberals drone on about a war on women, the real one is happening right under their noses.

Late last week, the world lost a bright 29-year-old kindergarten teacher to an abortion industry making millions on the lies of choice. Jennifer Morbelli was expecting a little girl, but after some fetal abnormalities were detected, she and her husband decided to abort their daughter in the eighth month of the pregnancy. Since only a handful of clinics still perform gruesome late-term abortions, Jennifer had to travel from New York to the office of the infamous LeRoy Carhart (George Tiller s heir apparent) in Germantown, Maryland. It was the last trip she and her unborn daughter would ever make. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/02/12/war-on-women-what-about-the-woman-who-died-from-an-abortion/

Ex-Abortion Biz Worker: I Had to Make Sure All The Baby s Parts Were There
A former abortion clinic worker, Ann, shared her story with ATTWN:

I grew up the oldest of four in a loving family in the midwest. My father is a retired MD, my mother was an RN,. I grew up feeling loved, regularly attending the Presbyterian Church, collecting pets and plants. Loved living things and the outdoors. Fascinated with science. Became an RN myself, and started my career in the ICU. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/02/12/ex-abortion-biz-worker-i-had-to-make-sure-all-the-babys-parts-were-there/

Hospital That Forced Nurse to Assist Abortion Changes Policy
A newly completed U.S. Department of Health and Human Services investigation of New York s Mt. Sinai Hospital has resulted in additional policy and procedure changes to ensure that medical personnel are not forced to participate in abortions. Alliance Defending Freedom attorneys representing a Mt. Sinai nurse requested the HHS Office of Civil Rights investigation after the hospital forced her to assist in an abortion in violation of her religious beliefs in 2009.

The changes come in addition to a new policy the hospital adopted after Alliance Defending Freedom attorneys filed a lawsuit on behalf of the nurse, Cathy Cenzon-DeCarlo. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/02/12/hospital-that-forced-nurse-to-assist-abortion-changes-policy/

Ex-Abortion Worker: I Saw My Lost Child in Jars of Aborted Baby Parts
Much has been written about the emotional trauma that women go through after their abortions. But what most people don t realize is that abortion is so inherently evil and destructive that it devastates everyone involved the mother, the father and the abortion provider. The doctors, nurses, and other clinic workers are human and repeatedly seeing the bodies of aborted babies and participating in their deaths leaves emotional scars.

After giving a graphic description of how to check body parts to make sure everything is out after an abortion, Dr. Don Sloan, abortionist, says the following. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/02/12/ex-abortion-worker-i-saw-my-lost-child-in-jars-of-aborted-baby-parts/

Abortion Clinic in Alabama Will Remain Closed After Violations
An Alabama abortion facility that tried to transfer ownership to avoid an order from the state health department that it close after three women were injured in botched abortions will remain closed. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/02/12/abortion-clinic-in-alabama-will-remain-closed-after-violations/

On Lincoln s Birthday, NAACP Continues Promoting Abortion
Today marks the birth of one of the most remarkable individuals in American history. Abraham Lincoln, born into poverty, lived a life of greatness that is too often reduced in its significance in today s popular culture. The Great Emancipator s words and actions were the catalyst for millions to be able live out their God-given Purpose, eventually freed from the shackles of slavery and inexplicable human degradation. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/02/12/on-lincolns-birthday-naacp-continues-promoting-abortion/

There is No Justification for Aborting Babies With Down Syndrome
An anonymous blogger shared her story last week about receiving a prenatal diagnosis of Down syndrome and choosing to then have an abortion because of the diagnosis. It s not surprising it happens nine out of ten times, after all but it didn t make her claims any less disturbing. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/02/12/there-is-no-justification-for-aborting-babies-with-down-syndrome/

A Texas teenager is suing her parents to stop them from making her have an abortion. Attorneys with The Center for Defense of Life have filed suit on behalf of the 16-year-old expectant mom who says her parents are trying to force her to have an abortion of a baby she wants to keep. http://www.lifenews.com/2013/02/12/teen-girl-sues-parents-to-stop-them-from-forcing-her-abortion/
