Terrific Interview On Abortion With Mother Teresa

Very few people had an impact on
the world quite like Mother Teresa. Her selfless
dedication to the poor and sick in India changed the lives of millions
of people across the world. For such a small woman, she had a gigantic
impact.
One of her greatest God-given gifts was the
ability to strike right to the core of social
issues both large and small, and the issue of
abortion was one of her most passionate topics. To
Mother Teresa, abortion was the "greatest threat
to peace in the world." She believed that all humans were made in the "imago dei," the image of God.
At Personhood USA we have strived to promote
the dignity of all human life knowing that each child carries God's
Image. This mission has brought us to all corners of the earth and thus
far we have accomplished many great feats. In America, we helped
usher through the first state-wide ban on abortion in North Dakota's
House and Senate! Now the issue will be decided by the people in the
next election. We have even launched ballot initiatives and court cases
in numerous states like Colorado, Mississippi, and Iowa, to ensure that
the right to life for the unborn begins at conception. Abroad, the fight
for life has taken us to El Salvador, the Dominican Republic, Ireland
and Hungary to name a few.
Following the theme of the "imago dei" and the fight for life, I want to share with you a video of Mother
Teresa at her best. It's a video from a 1985
interview she gave with pro-life activist Thom
O'Connor. In the extensive interview she cuts
through pro-abortion logic and destroys the
