From CMMB: What am I thankful for? You.

CMMB volunteer Jenny Jordan at work in Peru
Dear Friends,

I am thankful for you this Thanksgiving week.

Without you, we would not have have been able to place medical volunteers, like Jenny Jordan (above), in distressed communities around the world.

I am thankful that, with your help, we are able to supply local communities with water purification sachets.  Every week, 27,000 children die from unsafe water and a lack of basic sanitation.

One sachet, which is the size of a credit card, can rid 2.5 gallons of water of bacteria, viruses, other diseases that cause diarrhea, and heavy metals.

Think about what 100 sachets could do for a family without clean water?

Would you consider a gift of $100 today?  If you make a gift contribution today, the amount will be matched one-to-one.

$100, when matched, could provide a family in South Sudan with enough sachets for 500 gallons of safe, clean water.

Women, children, and their communities are living healthier lives because of you and for that, I am thankful.

Happy Thanksgiving,

Bruce Wilkinson
